Set up the Flutter environment

1. Install Flutter

FluxStore app is supported on MacOS and Windows only.

• On MacOS, you can build apps on both iOS and Android.
• On Windows, you can build apps on only Android.

Follow this guide to select an operating system and follow step by step to install Flutter.

2. Set up an editor

There are many different IDEs that you could use to code Flutter, but we recommend 2 IDEs that shine better than others.

• Android Studio: This is one of my most favorite environments. Android Studio supports javascript harmony beautifully, mass refactor code, linking resource manager, error checking. It is available on Mac OS and Windows. Follow this guide to set up Android Studio.
• Visual Studio Code: Free. Open-source. Runs everywhere. Have extensions market. Available on Mac OS and Windows. Follow this guide to set up Visual Studio Code.

3. Test drive

This step is to make sure you have set up all libraries ready before using the FluxStore apps.
